These files contain fictional test data. The change log lists field edits; the duplicate-removal and row-trace logs account for every input record. Check exceptions before an import. Set SKU to text when opening a spreadsheet.

Trim the outer spaces

“ 00102 ” becomes “00102”. The SKU and name edits appear in changes.csv.

Remove exact repeats

One sample row repeats across all five fields. The clean output keeps one copy, and duplicates.csv records the removal.

Keep the decisions visible

Missing prices, conflicting SKUs and unsupported values go to exceptions.csv.

Preserve the SKU string

00101 keeps its leading zeros in the CSV. Your spreadsheet must treat SKU as text.

    Trim outer spaces, remove exact duplicates after trim, flag invalid or conflicting rows and preserve leading-zero SKU strings. Field-edit, exception, duplicate-removal and row-trace logs let you inspect every input record.

    Request it within seven days of receiving the five CSV files.

    Describe the CSV.

    Email the headers, record count and problem. Keep personal or sensitive data out. We agree how to share a suitable sample or file.

  2. 02

    Agree the scope.

    Before payment, confirm the file or sample, field mappings, rules, total price and delivery time in writing.

  3. 03

    Review the outputs.

    Receive cleaned.csv with field-edit, exception, duplicate-removal and row-trace logs: changes.csv, exceptions.csv, duplicates.csv and provenance.csv. Check flagged records before using the file elsewhere.

What does the sample show?

The original fictional file has 12 records. Four are clean, seven need a decision and one exact duplicate is removed. The field-change file lists two outer-space edits. This demonstrates a narrow cleanup on fictional data, not a customer result or a guarantee for every source file.

Will it import into my store?

The outputs use a generic five-field CSV schema. The pilot does not certify Shopify, BigCommerce or another importer, map variants or images, or change a live store. We do not invent missing values or choose between conflicting prices.

What if the work cannot be delivered?

We accept work only after confirming the scope and a delivery time. If the agreed work becomes blocked, we pause new work and resolve delivery or a refund through the original payment route. Statutory rights remain unaffected.

Can I see the earlier website sample?

The earlier fictional website-check report remains available as a reference. It is separate from this CSV pilot and does not describe the current offer.
